Law, Justice and Aging

A brief summary of the second edition of the book "Law , justice, and aging" by Dr Yisrael Doron.

The elderly in Israel: 2009 statistical almanac

The 2009 statistical almanac of the Elderly in Israel is the 12th yearly almanac published to date by Mashav, the national information database for planning in the field of aging, a joint project of the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute and JDC-Eshel.

The almanac covers a wide variety of data on characteristics and various facets of the status of Israel's elderly.   Efforts have been made to study the trends and changes that have occured over the course of time and when possible to differentiate betwwen population groups and geographical areas.  The data serves as an imperative information source for planning, and provides a base for discourse on needs, solutions and the gaps between the two amongst various subgroups of elderly.
